日本極右のロビー活動が話題に
ニコンが日本の極右勢力に迎合して妨害したことで知られる、安世鴻氏の従軍慰安婦の写真展がニュージャージーのパリセーズパークで開かれているようです。

もちろん、ニュージャージーのパリセーズパークといえば去年（2012年）の5月に自民党の右翼政治家らが従軍慰安婦の記念碑を撤去させるように圧力をかけにいったあの場所です。この件に関しては何度か記事にしました。

極めて幼稚で程度と人権意識の低い、一言で言って恫喝と表現できる自民党・山谷えり子議員らの税金を使った外遊ですが、これは紛う方なきロビー活動です。
NYTでも、パリセーズパーク市を日本政府関係者からロビー活動を受けた自治体（Japanese officials lobbied local authorities）と表現しています。上記サイトでも“lobbied local authorities”の文字は2012年5月18日のNYT記事*1にリンクされています。
2012年5月の山谷えり子議員らの恫喝は、日本のロビー活動として歴史に名をとどめる事でしょう。
