前途多難な安倍政権
文政権が日韓政府間合意について破棄も再交渉もしないと表明したことで、日本以外では安倍政権が期待していたような韓国非難の論調が広まっていません。

まあ、“事実上の”破棄だなんて日本がいくら言っても、公式には破棄してない以上、同調してくれる国はあまり現われないでしょう。それは日韓政府間合意以降も、慰安婦を売春婦呼ばわりしたり性奴隷に非ずと国連で声高に叫んだりして、“事実上の”合意違反を繰り返してきた日本政府自身が良く理解しているべき話でしょうにね。
さて、前途多難なのはそれだけではなく、英語圏の報道にも表れています。
裏合意で「慰安婦を性奴隷と表現するな」と要求した日本政府
今回の文政権による日韓政府間合意の検証によって、日本政府が韓国政府に対して「「性奴隷」という単語を使用しないよう希望」したことが明らかになりました。
一、日本側は（1）今回の発表により慰安婦問題は最終的かつ不可逆的に解決され、挺対協など団体が不満を表明する場合にも、韓国政府としては同調せず、説得するよう望む。少女像をどのように移転するか、具体的な韓国政府の計画を聞きたいと言及（2）第三国における慰安婦関連の像・碑の設置に対しては、このような動きは諸外国で各民族が平和と調和の中で共存を希望する中で、適切でないと考える（3）韓国政府は今後、「性奴隷」という単語を使用しないよう希望する－と指摘した。

詐欺や暴力によって日本軍相手の売春を強制された戦時性暴力被害者のことを現在の日本では「性奴隷」と呼んではいけないことになっています。慰安婦を「性奴隷」と表現すると様々な社会的な抑圧が加えられる一方で、慰安婦を自発的な売春婦だと表現する連中は安倍政権や右翼メディアに重宝され、様々な恩恵を与えられるような状況です。
日本国内に、日本軍慰安婦を「性奴隷」だと表現できるメディアはほとんど残っていないでしょう。
ところが安倍政権による圧力と支配が届かず、安倍首相との会食に招かれることもない英語圏のメディアは忖度という日本の伝統文化を理解していません。

It also offered for the first time government money to support surviving victims through a foundation run by the Korean government. Both sides pledged to stop criticizing each other on the comfort women issue. They pronounced the deal a “final and irreversible resolution” to the issue.

これらの英字紙の記事はとてもけしからんものです。
ちゃんと、安倍政権が慰安婦を性奴隷と呼ぶなと裏合意で要求したことにも言及するべきですよね。
そんなわけで安倍政権にはこれらの英字紙に対して、「性奴隷と呼ぶな！」と正式に抗議してほしいものです。日本の真意が英語圏にしっかりと伝わることでしょう。
